Garden Path

This is a pattern for a quilted wall hanging that measures 16” by 20”. I just
love the Art Nouveau look of it! Some parts of it remind me of the little
twists and turns that fern leaves have as they begin to unfold. And the
overall look of it reminds me of some of the awesome gardens I visited in
Europe during the summer of ’72. They were designed so that pathways would
turn and wind through what seemed like endless stretches of beautiful
plantings, but in looking back, one would discover that they had actually
covered only a small section of ground! This wall hanging uses only one
fat quarter of fabric (plus the black layer, of course!) for the whole design.
