Description
The original plan for this pattern was to serve as a patriotic lap quilt, which could be given to veterans or those who are currently serving our country. With that plan in mind, I was in search of red, white, and blue fabrics, when I discovered the beautiful line of Stonehenge fabrics. I chose cream instead of white, because I loved the look of the muted colors. I hope you agree that these colors are wonderful in this particular design. However, this is one of those patterns that should look great in just about any color combination, as long as there is enough contrast between them. This pattern contains the following sizes: lap/twin, double/full, queen, and king. It consists of only two blocks — both made from the same pattern, but with slight changes in the fabric colors. The blocks are sewn in columns and then the columns are joined together, side-by-side. Then, there is a magical twist in the expected layout that will have your blocks on point in no time at all! Two cuts and two seams will do the trick, and you will be ready to add your borders. Join in the fun, and order your pattern today. Will you be able to make just one?
