Little Sister

This is a quilted wall hanging that measures approximately 20” by 32”. This small
angel appears to hover in the air with her dress flowing around her. Contrasting
light and dark fabrics create depth in the folds of the gown, while the stitching on
the background spreads out like rays of light. Colors an be changed to coordinate
this pattern with any décor.

Note: If you compare Little Sister with Big Sister (lower on this page) you will notice
that Little Sister has a black outline around her pieces whereas Big Sister has blue lines.
That is because I left the black layer off of the Big Sister, and the background fabric is
what is showing up between her sections. The same look may be achieved with Little Sister,
if you just leave off the black layer, and place your colored fabrics directly onto the background
fabric. Just be sure that you have enough contrast between the background fabric and the
fabrics that make up the angel, so that you will achieve a good, crisp “outline”. Little
Sister has been paired with Big Sister many times. They coordinate beautifully!
