Thank you so much, Susan! They are a LOT of fun to make, and so much fun to show and share! I have made several and would love to make more as time becomes available. Thanks for your comment/compliment! I’m so glad you like him. :)
Take care and have a good weekend.

Carol –
Hi! I have just purchased the “owl” pattern and all the materials to make it. When I printed the pattern out the A and B circles, they seem to be really huge. Before I cut my material out, could someone please give me the measurement of circle “A” and “B” diameters (along the folds) ? I would really appreciate it.

Same here!

Can’t wait to make these beautiful, adorable owls. The worker @ Joann’s Fabrics said she saw them on my iPad, when I was picking out my fabric, and was admiring them! I had the Ipad propped up on my cart. I had a Yo-Yo monkey , growing up, that my mother had made, so these are very special to me. I hope my granddaughter will love it just as much! I just need an answer to my prior post before I can start on it :).
Anita –
Hey, Carol! We both know that I have already responded to this email, but I’m sending this message in order for my program to know that I have taken care of it. Otherwise, it keeps telling me that I need to respond to you!
Debbie –
I would like the pattern . The only thing I would like to have the pattern step by step to make one. They are very quit.
Anita –
Hi, Debbie! The pattern comes with step-by-step instructions and numerous diagrams. I don’t think you will have any problem putting one together. Just use the link on the website and add it to your cart. You will be prompted for any information they need to process your order. Thanks for writing!

This was fun to make for my granddaughter. I wish you had a few more photos, like the ears, wings. It is hard to tell from the front view how they should look. But it was fun and I know she’ll love it as she loves owls. I made it out of fabric with butterflies (we both like butterflies). I will send you a photo.

Hi I’m still waiting to receive my order
Anita –
Hello, Erika! I just opened up my emails to respond to another one that came in today, and noticed yours. Have you received your Yo-Yo AL pattern, yet?
Margie Frasier –
I just finished my first owl and I’ll be making more of them for our church bazaar in late October. It turned out so cute and the hardest part was deciding on the colors. Instructions are very clear and follow a logical order, making the owl easy to assemble. I have the pattern for the frog as well, but won’t try that one right away.

Boa tarde Anita,
Amo essa sua coruja de fuxico, por favor me mande ou venda o passo a passo dela.
Anita –
Muito obrigado! Estou feliz que você goste. Você está querendo pedir o padrão?

I eventually made 7 owls with some owls in holiday colors so I had 4th of July, Christmas, Halloween, Spring, Fall, Winter, etc. They all sold at the bazaar, very popular. Thanks, Anita, for a fun project.
Anita –
Wow! You are very ambitious! I would love to see all of you “holiday owls!” I’m glad they sold well for you. And, you are quite welcome! I appreciate you for writing to tell me about your projects!

I feel that there is a page of instructions missing in the pattern. I made one but it just falls over. It needs something up the middle to make it stable.
Anita –
Hello, Susan. I have seen this problem before. And, it basically has to do with the thickness of the fabric that you use to make the yo-yos and with how they are strung together. The sturdier fabrics support the weight of the head the best, but there is something you can do to help the problem. If you have some fiberfill/stuffing, you can take a small bit at a time and push it into the yo-yos that make up the body of the owl. If you don’t have that, you can use small pieces of batting, or even tissue paper. And, another thing I have tried for helping the owl to be able to “sit” is to use a spool of thread, or an empty spool to place between the stick he sits on and his tail. I hope this helps! Anita
